Historic: Years Past

Those were fantastic exhibits in Palazzo Alvera' on the Grand Canal five and six years ago. What could have been more grand than showing our Venetian- style painted furniture in Venice itself. The high-ceiling, painted plaster-decorated walls on the "piano nobile" next to a lush garden were a dream display. Some of these pieces are still offered as shown, others replaced by improved designs. All are memorable.
